Dr Inga Kačevska
Dr. Inga Kačevska is a partner of Law Office of Inga Kačevska. She specializes in arbitration and international private law, regularly acting as arbitrator and counsel in international and domestic arbitration. She is acknowledged as the best arbitration practitioner in Latvia by Who’sWhoLegal in 2010-2020.
She is Associate professor at University of Latvia and coaches Vis team for past 18 years. Inga Kačevska regularly lectures in the Latvian Judicial Training Centre on private international law, international trade and arbitration law. She is an author of different publications, including the commentary on Latvian Civil Procedure Law. In 2014 the Government of Latvia appointed Dr. Kačevska to the Panel of Arbitrators at ICSID. He is a retired civil servant and made it to the Time Magazine's list of 100 Young Global Leaders.He pioneered the literacy movement in India by making Kottayam the first 100 per cent literate town in India in 1989. As Commissioner of DDA, he demolished 14,310 illegal buildings in Delhi.
In November 2017, a video went viral of him being rebuked by a woman doctor in Imphal whose flight was delayed because of special arrangements for VVIPs.
