    Konidela Nagendra Rao[1] (29 October 1961), popularly known as NagendraBabu and Naga Babu, is an Indian actor, producer, and politician who works in Telugu cinema. He has received one National Film Award and two Nandi Awards for his work as a producer. He is the current General Secretary of the Janasena Party.

    Acting career

    Nagendra Babu acts mainly in supporting roles and villain roles, though he has also played the lead role in some films. He has acted in 143, Anji, Shock, Sri Ramadasu, Chandamama and Orange. He has produced several films with his brothers, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan under Anjana Productions. He has two children, actor Varun Tej and Niharika.[3] He appeared in television serials[4] and was a judge on the comedy show, Jabardasth, which aired on ETV.[5]

    Naga Babu joined Janasena Party established by his brother Pawan Kalyan and contested as a M.P. candidate for Narasapuram Lok Sabha constituency in the 2019 Indian general election.[6] He lost after securing 250,289 votes.[7][8]

    Niharika Konidela (born 18 December 1993[1]) is an Indian actress and producer who works in Telugu films. She made her debut with the film Oka Manasu (2016).[2] She produces films and web series under her banner Pink Elephant Pictures.

    Early and personal life

    Niharika Konidela is the daughter of actor and producer Nagendra Babu and Padmaja Konidela.[3] She is the niece of actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Her brother, Varun Tej, and cousins, Ram Charan, Sai Dharam Tej, Vaisshnav Tej, and Allu Arjun are also actors in Telugu cinema.[4]

    She married Chaitanya Jonnalagadda on 9 December 2020, at Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, Rajasthan.[5][6] The couple announced their divorce on 5 July 2023.[7][8][9][10]

    Niharika worked as a presenter on Telugu language television before pursuing a career as an actress.[11][12] She has hosted Dhee Ultimate Dance Show for the segments Dhee Junior 1 and Dhee Junior 2 aired on ETV Network.[13]
