Malcolm Bligh Turnbull (born 24 October 1954) is an Australian former politician and businessman who served as the 29th prime minister of Australia from 2015 to 2018. He held office as leader of the Liberal Party of Australia and was the member of parliament (MP) for the New South Wales division of Wentworth from 2004 to 2018.

Coalition grilled over links to Grech
The Federal Opposition is under pressure to reveal its dealings with Treasury official Godwin Grech, amid reports leader Malcolm Turnbull met with him prior to his explosive evidence at a Senate inquiry last week.
Some News Limited newspapers report that Mr Turnbull and Liberal Senator Eric Abetz held a meeting with Mr Grech in the lead-up to his appearance at last Friday's Senate inquiry and at that meeting they were shown the faked email at the centre of the OzCar scandal.
Mr Grech - who heads the Government's OzCar trust - is now being investigated over the fake email after it was found in Monday's AFP raids on Treasury and Mr Grech's home.
It is thought the faked email was concocted in Treasury and then sent to Mr Grech's home account, where it was deleted.
Under intense questioning from Senator Abetz during a Senate hearing last week Mr Grech said that he remembered that the Prime Minister's office wrote him an email to ask him to look into the case of car dealer John Grant; Mr Grant is a friend of the Prime Minister and was seeking assistance from the trust.
