Oriana Curls (b. France), is a London-based singer-songwriter / violinist.
Oriana Curls is a French singer songwriter based in London for the past three years. Her talent as a songwriter and her impressive four-octave range voice has already allowed her to work with some of the best musicians, writers and producers throughout London. From such varied and successful artists like Andy Bradfield (Imelda May, Rufus Wainwright), Marcella Puppini (The Puppini Sisters), Alex Von Soos (Number one hit song 'Black coffee'), Alex Golding (Lulu, Keziah Jones), french american composer Eve Buigues (Margaret Cho) and multi-instrumentalist and producer Koby Israelite (John Zorn, Madonna).
She started studying classical violin, piano and ballet from a young age at the renowned Conservatoire in Strasbourg. From there, she later moved to Paris where she developed her talent for Jazz as well as starting to perform as a burlesque dancer further improving her stagecraft as a performer. Always feeling she wasn't in the right city that would allow her to develop her own unique style, she decided to move to the London scene to further advance her career as a serious artist.

Director Ram Gopal Varma simply loves movies and the magic that can surround them. Most Bollywood stars are groomed for stardom from the very beginning – coming either from filmi families, modelling careers, beauty contests, well known families or good connections. The PR machines go into full force and their first film is launched to either acclaim or ignominy. Very few actors work their way up from being a bit player or a background dancer to ever becoming a star. So those gorgeous female background dancers that inhabit so many Bollywood films like visual exclamation points are likely always going to be background dancers.
